Jesse Dufton goes from strength to strength with an on-sight flash ascent of classic Don Whillan’s route Forked Lightning Crack (E2, 5C) at Heptonstall Quarry.
Team GB paraclimber Jesse, who is the main focus of Alastair Lee’s award winning film Climbing Blind, described the feat on his official Facebook page as “I pulled on knowing this was likely the hardest thing I’d ever tried. What pleased me most, was that once I’d got into the layback, I relaxed and climbed smoothly. No jitters, I just smashed it…on-sight!!”
